The Golden Technologies Compass Sport power wheelchair comes standard with the new Dynamic Linx controller. The Dynamic Linx provides a better ride experience using Dynamic’s patented Dynamic Load Compensation technology. Dynamic Load Compensation allows the electronics to control the speed of the motors so the chair behaves the way the client expects, making driving a simpler and more natural experience. This unique technology also makes the ride independent of the terrain or environment by continuously making small adjustments depending on the driving conditions, such as hills, speed, and rider weight.
The Compass Sport power wheelchair features up to a 24-mile drive range on a full charge making it ideal for all-day use. It can accommodate users up to 300 lbs and ground clearance of 3.25". Its ultra-tight turning radius of 19.5" makes it ideal for anywhere maneuvering can be an issue.
Golden Technologies offers a comprehensive factory warranty that rivals any other competitor in the industry. The Golden Technologies Avenger mobility scooter comes with a one-year in-home service contract at our cost. This means if you have any issues for the first year we will dispatch a licensed technician to your home to diagnose and repair the unit for free for one year.
Consumer Limited Warranty
Golden Technologies has provided information throughout the owner’s manual in regards to proper usage and care of your power wheelchair. Failure to adhere to this information will void the warranty of the power wheelchair, it’s parts and the batteries supplied by Golden Technologies
The following warranty is granted only to the INITIAL Consumer who has purchased our product and commences on the Date of Purchase by the Consumer from an Authorized Golden Technologies’ Provider. The Consumer must have a warranty registration card filed with Golden Technologies to receive service.
The warranty covers the following power wheelchair models unless otherwise noted:

Limited Lifetime Warranty
In the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option any of the following structural frame components found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative:
- Steel Frame*
- Frame Welds*
- Seat Post*
*The GP162, GP615 and the GP620 are warranted for FIVE YEARS.
Thirteen Month Limited Warranty
For the period of thirteen months from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option any of the following structural frame components found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative:
- Caster Beam
- Anti-Tip Forks
- Caster Forks
For the period of thirteen months from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option any of the following drive train components found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative:
- Motor/Gearbox Assembly
- Brake Assembly (electrical function only)
Note: An increase in operating noise of the motor/gearbox DOES NOT constitute a defect. With normal wear and tear, operating noise is expected to increase.
For the period of thirteen months from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option any of the following electronic assemblies found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative:
- Electronic Controller
- Battery Charger
- Wire Harness(es) (excludes boot covers)
Note: While charging batteries, it is normal for the battery charger to heat up. Heat coming from the battery charger DOES NOT constitute a defect.
For the period of thirteen months from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option any of the following parts found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative:
- Seat swivel mechanism
- Rubber Components (excludes tires and all wear parts)
- Plastic Components (excludes body & all wear parts)
Twelve Month Limited Warranty
For the period of twelve months from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will replace the batteries supplied by Golden Technologies if found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative.
Items not mentioned or listed are covered at the discretion of Golden Technologies. Any accessories, standard or optional, supplied by Golden Technologies, are covered for a period of one year from the date of purchase with the particular unit.
Golden Technologies does not provide warranty on any of the following items which may require replacement due to the normal wear and tear of day to day usage:
- Tires and Tubes
- ABS Plastic Shrouds
- Armrest Pads
- Motor Brushes
- Battery Cases
- Brake Pads
This warranty also excludes the following:
- Loss or theft of components
- Damage caused by:
- Battery fluid spillage or leakage
- Abuse, misuse, accident or negligence.
- Improper operation, maintenance or storage.
- Commercial use or use other than normal.
- Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without the specific consent of Golden Technologies.
- Exceeding the specified weight capacity of the unit.
- Accessories other than those supplied or approved by Golden Technologies.
- Failure to adhere to the product instructions
- Acts of Nature, such as lightning strikes, earthquakes, etc….
- Circumstances beyond the control of Golden Technologies.
ANY PARTS ALTERED OR REPAIRED BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSON.
Warranty Service must be performed by an authorized Golden Technologies representative. Golden Technologies reserves the right to replace warranted part(s) with refurbished or new part(s) at our discretion. All labor charges, service calls, transportation costs or any other charge(s) associated with the installation of any warranted part(s) are the responsibility of the consumer. Warranty is for the replacement of the parts only and does not include freight for the replacement parts. Consumers are not to return any item(s) to Golden Technologies without prior written authorization. Any damages incurred while warranted part(s) are in transport are the sole responsibility of the consumer.
There is no other express warranty.
Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded. Liabilities for consequential damages are excluded.
This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
At Suncoast Mobility, our goal is to ensure that we assist you in selecting the right product for your needs. However, occasionally the product may not work for you. If you need to return an item, please review our Return Policy below and submit an online return authorization request. Once your request is reviewed a representative will reach out to you with further steps and information regarding your return. Units that have left the USA via a freight forwarder cannot be returned.
Return Merchandise Authorization
All no longer wanted returns will be returned at the customer’s expense in the original packaging and must meet the following criteria. The Product must be in new condition (no cracks, scratches, marked tires, or any indications of use). It must be returned in its original packaging. A return merchandise authorization must be requested from Suncoast Mobility within 30 days of the completed delivery for most brands. Enhance Mobility has a 7 day return window. Once a return merchandise authorization number has been supplied the product must be shipped within 7 days. Custom-made units by the manufacturer and are non-returnable: lift chairs with custom fabrics and/or heat and massage, Golden Technologies PR-502 lift chairs and all open box items. All lift chairs must still be banded and unopened due to new FDA COVID-19 sanitary return guidelines. This means if your lift chair has been opened from the original packaging it cannot be returned.
Every product we offer requires a return authorization number to return and a 20% restocking fee will be charged unless otherwise stated. Returns received without this number will not be credited. The easiest way to request an RMA number is by completing our easy online contact form. You may also call us at 727-537-6275 or email us at email@example.com to request an RA number. Please include your order number, name, and the item number you are returning.
PLEASE NOTE: Products returned without an RMA number will not be credited. To receive credit, items must be shipped within 7 days from the day the RMA Number and shipping information were provided by Suncoast Mobility.
Unless we made an error, outbound and inbound freight is the customer’s responsibility. We are happy to help you determine which shipping method to use once you have requested your RMA number. We highly recommend insuring larger items for their retail value to protect against shipping damage.
Please be sure to carefully follow all return-shipping instructions that are included with your Return Merchandise Authorization number. If an item is returned to the wrong address, Suncoast Mobility reserves the right to charge for any additional shipping fees associated with shipping the item to the correct address. If a scheduled pickup with a carrier is missed, Suncoast Mobility may charge a $10 fee per missed scheduled pickup.
Orders canceled after the item has shipped are subject to the above return policies. You must accept the delivery then obtain an RA Number from us in order to ship the item back to the correct address. If delivery of an item is refused by the customer the return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a 15% restocking fee will apply. Expedited shipping costs will not be credited if a delivery is refused.
Once your return is received by Suncoast Mobility will issue a credit to the card used for the original purchase. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for your return to be inspected and credited.
