Shoprider Limited Warranty Overview

Shoprider Mobility Products, Inc. warrants its scooters and power chairs against defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date, subject to the terms and exclusions outlined below.

  • Valid only for products purchased in the United States from an authorized Shoprider provider
  • Applies only to the original purchaser
  • Covers repair or replacement of defective parts only
  • Labor, shipping, transportation, and expedited shipping charges are not covered
  • Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims
Warranty Coverage
  • Frame: 5 year warranty
  • Electronics: 12 months
  • Motor / Transaxle / Brake: 12 months
  • Batteries: 6 months
Warranty Conditions
  1. Warranty is only valid for products purchased from authorized Shoprider providers.
  2. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser.
  3. Warranty becomes void if non-genuine Shoprider parts are used or modifications are made.
  4. Registration card must be completed and returned within 30 days of purchase.
  5. Annual maintenance schedules must be followed.
  6. No dealer or provider may extend or modify the warranty terms.
Warranty Exceptions
  • Transaxle: Increased operational noise is not covered.
  • Motor: Damage caused by worn motor brushes not being replaced is excluded.
  • Brake Pads: Considered wear items; covered for one year only.
  • Batteries: Battery leakage or damage is not covered by Shoprider.
  • Controllers: Damage caused by negligence or liquid exposure may void coverage.
Warranty Exclusions
  • Plastic shrouds and covers
  • Seat upholstery and arm pads
  • Tires and other wear items
  • Shipping and transportation damage
  • House calls, pickup, or delivery services
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance
Shipping & Transportation

All transportation costs and shipping damage related to warranty repairs or replacement parts are the responsibility of the original purchaser.

Legal & Liability Information
  • Implied warranties are limited as permitted by state law.
  • Distributor liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts.
  • Distributor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
  • Warranty modifications must be made in writing by an officer of Shoprider Mobility Products, Inc.

At Suncoast Mobility, we are committed to helping you select the right mobility product for your needs, including scooters, power wheelchairs, lift chairs, and other mobility equipment.

If a product is not the right fit, you may request a return authorization by submitting an RMA request. Once submitted, our team will review your order and contact you with next steps, including eligibility confirmation and return instructions.

All returns must be pre-approved and assigned an RMA number before being shipped back. Items sent without authorization may be rejected.

Orders shipped outside the United States via freight forwarders are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
All returns require an approved RMA and must meet the following conditions:
  • Items must be new and unused
  • No signs of wear, damage, or installation
  • Original packaging required
  • Return request must be made within 30 days (brand-dependent)
  • Enhance Mobility: 7-day return window
  • Must ship within 7 days of receiving RMA
  • 20% restocking fee may apply
  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
  • Custom-built or custom-configured products
  • Open-box or used items
  • Lift chairs with custom fabric, heat, or massage options
  • Golden Technologies PR-502 lift chairs
  • Lift chairs removed from original packaging (must be factory sealed)
Return Shipping
Unless an error occurred on our part, all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Both outbound and return shipping fees apply
  • Insurance is strongly recommended for high-value items
  • Incorrect return shipments may incur additional charges
  • $30 fee may apply for missed carrier pickups
Canceled Orders
Orders canceled after shipment are subject to standard return policies.
  • Orders must be accepted before return processing
  • Refused deliveries incur return shipping costs
  • Restocking fees between 15%–25% may apply
  • Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable
Refunds & Credits
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
